Nestled in a picturesque corner of the Dolomites, Garni offers a welcoming atmosphere that is perfect for families. During our stay, we appreciated the easy access to local hiking trails right outside the doorstep, ideal for exploring the stunning surroundings with my fiancé and our little one. The proprietor, Patrick, proved to be an invaluable resource, sharing insights on various family-friendly hikes, including nearby attractions like Cinque Tori and Pelmo. The hotel itself features clean rooms, each with a balcony providing lovely views of the mountains, which was a delight during our evenings. Mornings began with a plentiful breakfast, energizing us for our outdoor adventures. While the selection was simple, it included delicious croissants that my child adored. The proximity of Selva di Cadore enriched our experience, allowing for charming walks between villages and easy access to local dining, such as a delightful pizzeria. Garni strikes a balance between comfort, cleanliness, and affordability, making it a convenient option for families seeking a unique mountain experience in the Dolomites.
